What can it do?

Backoffice can administer content on any cloud-based installation. For example websites, online software, content on touch-screen info kiosks etc.



Once the platform is in place, a variety of modules can be implemented according to your needs - in order to enhance the functionality, behaviour and performance of your website.

Modules can be individually adapted in order to work the way you want. Special modules can be developed upon request.

PDF generator

Allow speciic content to be downloadable in PDF form. A PDF document is automatically generated from content on the page (f.ex. CV for your key personnel etc)

Multiple language website

Run more language versions of your website. Each version is completely independant from the others.

Search with suggestions

Allows the visitors to search through the content on your website - and give suggestions as they type (realtime), Results are structured into categories (f.ex. contentpages, news, products etc) and an advanced search functionality with different search parameters can be added.

Newsletter module

Collect the content you want from your website (f.ex. news, products on sale, articles or upcoming events). Send it out in a predesigned template matching your graphical identity, to all users who have agreed to receive newsletters.

Newsletters can be sendout to specific target group(s) such as f.ex. 'private persons' , 'company registrants' , 'women between 20 and 45 y.o' etc.

WIKI module

Add information in a WIKI-style setup, allowing the visitors to browse or search through all content. Also includes keyword tagging and automatic suggestions of other relevant articles to the one the visitor is currently reading.

Dictionary with smartlinks

Help the visitor by explaining specific words or terms (f.ex. of a technical character) by adding them to the dictionary. Words appears highlighted in the text on a page - and when the visitor points the mouse over the word, he will receive immediate explanation of the word (without having to leave the page)

Related content

Help the user to find more relevant information on your website, by relating other articles, news, events etc. (Or automatised system that will suggest the visitor other relevant content related to what he is currently reading about)

Integrated media bank

Store images (low-res + high-res) and organise in folders. Re-use in other places (select from gallery) function on all content-related places.

Update reminder

Notifies the wedmaster/webeditors about content that should be checked for relevance
(f.ex. contentpages to be checked annually, product descriptions to be checked monthly etc).
  

Time-controlled publication

Publish content (f.ex. product news or offers) in a limited period of time, create content and make it public from a specific date in the future (f.ex. a news about merging with a competior, a new CEO etc) 

Language versions

Allows each administrator/webeditor to use Backoffice in his/her prefered language. If f.ex. you run a multilingual website for an international company, then you may have a spanish person in charge of content on the spanish site. This person can choose to work in the Backoffice in SPANISH whereas you may want to work in ENGLISH etc.

Multiple website manager

Allows you to administer more websites from the same Backoffice. Possible enhancement: cross-publish content throughout the various sites.

Update reminder

Notifies administrators of content that should be checked for relevance/updated. (Content can be set for checkup annually, pr. 6 months or monthly). Admins are notified via a 'warning' in the Backofice homepage and/orr by automatic email.

Email manager

Edit content in emails sent out from the website (f.ex. order confirmation email, register as member, newsagent mail etc) 

Garbage bin

Allows you to reinsert accidently deleted content with a single click

Webmaster-/editors

Allows you to create new webmasters/editors. Either will full or limited access priviledges. (ex: one admin may only have access to publish news, another news, events and content etc)
  

In-depth statistics

Provides instant statistics related to products (views, purchases, sharing etc) directly inside your Backofice. Compare time periods to follow the selling patterns of specific products - and more.

Gift cards

Offer your customers to buy a giftcard for your shop as a present. The card can be printed out (nicely designed) and contains a unique code that the recipient can use for shopping on your website.

B2B and B2C shop in one

Add B2B customers and let them shop without immediate payment (but instead receive an invoice from your company along with the products they request). Set maximum limit to their credit.

General discounts

Specify users who gets an overall discount on your products. For example B2B customers, loyal customers or customers who has bought for a total sum of products already. When logge-in on the webshop they wil automatically see products with their special discount.

Discount codes

Create discount codes that gives a discount on a specific product when entered. Codes can for xample can be published on Facebook (for people who 'likes' your shop), sendout in newsletters (special offers to those who signup for the newsletter)

Time-controlled offers

Put products on sale on specific dates/time-range (after which they wil go back to the original price)

Quality management

Establish quality-management on specific worflows. Enables content from wededitors to not be published directly, but only after check-up and approval by the webmaster.

On-site communication

Allow your users to present themselves via user-profiles and to contact/communicate directly via the website.

User-generated content

Allow a certain type of user to add content to specific parts of your website, directly on the website (= no need to grant them access to your Backofice). Can f.ex. include adding news, events etc.

Share content

Let your visitors share information from your website with a single click. Either by sending email or sharing via social or professional networks. Allow users to login to your website using their Facebook og LinkedIn login etc.
